This deluxe, air conditioned B&B is in a 1960’s elevator building just outside the Vatican Walls. In front of the building there is a private park-like area. The street gets a light amount of traffic being located on a consular street associated with the Vatican.
The bed and breakfast is on the 2nd floor and has windows that look out onto a private street ensuring a quiet atmosphere especially at night.
It offers 2 elegantly furnished bedrooms each with a queen size bed (not dividable) and sleeps up to 4 persons total. One bedroom is accented in yellow and the other in red.
- Both rooms have an ensuite bathroom with a stall shower and hair dryer. Each room has a flat screen TV and DVD player, a mini fridge, an Internet Wi-Fi connection and an iron. The Yellow room has a small balcony where smoking is permitted.
The rooms have central heating and there is plenty of hot water. Guests may use the telephone in the apartment for local calls. The helpful hosts speak English and will serve breakfast in the rooms.
The Basilica of St. Peters and the Vatican Museum are just a 10 minute walk away. There are also buses at a stop 200 yds from the house which go to St. Peters as well as to the historical center where there are major historical sights such as Piazza Navona, Campo de' Fiori, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and the Spanish Steps.
The B & B is about equidistant (1/2mile) to both the Cipro stop and the Valle Aurelia stop of Metro Subway Line A both of which go to Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna and the Railroad Station (Stazione Termini) where there are both subway and bus connections to all other sections of the city.From this B&B:
