This ground floor apartment is near the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, one of the four major Basilicas of Rome. The main entrance to the apartment opens directly onto the street and once inside opens directly into a living/dining room. It receives its natural light from the wood and glass entrance door. It has wood beam ceilings typical of many old Roman houses in the historical center. The room also includes a twin sofa bed, a satellite TV, a table and chairs and a corner kitchen equipped with an electric stove top unit, a toaster oven, a refrigerator, washing machine and iron. The bedroom has a queen size bed and furniture with an oriental motif. There is a small, internal, walled terrace off the bedroom which provides a private seating area for relaxation. The bathroom, with decorative mosaic tiles, has a stall shower and a hairdryer. The unit has its own heating and hot water and includes a fan for the warmer seasons. Pets are welcome. No smoking, please. The host and hostess speak Italian and English. Arrival check in time is requested before 11pm.
