Don't be deceived when entering the classical entrance of this 18th century palazzo because this suite of 5 rooms, located on the 3rd floor of this elevator building, are designed with a mix of vintage and contemporary styles and furnished with antique and modern furnishings. This is a professionally run, hotel style B&B with the host on site only during breakfast hours. All rooms are air conditioned, have queen size beds, ensuite bathrooms and parquet floors and several of the rooms have frescoes decorating the ceilings. Each room is dedicated to a famous woman so that each room has a different mood to fit a traveler's pleasure. The Coco Chanel room is decorated in red, white and black, has a ceiling fresco, a lovely chest of drawers with a modern wash basin on top and a makeup table. The Barbarella room (a comic book heroine) has a mosaic covered tub inside the room (and no shower in the bathroom). The Nico room (the muse of the Velvet Underground) has a ceiling fresco, a modern glass basin in the room and a black and white checkered bathroom; The Twiggy room (a small room inspired by London of the 60s) is brightly decorated and has a colored glass wall between the bathroom, which has a stall shower, and the bedroom. The Lucrezia Borgia room has a warm sumptuousness created by leather chairs and leather details. It has a ceiling fresco, a travertine tiled tub in the room (and no shower in the bathroom). All the rooms have double glazed windows although only three of them (Nico, Coco and Lucrezia) look out onto the street. All the rooms have an LCD TV set, a WiFi Internet connection, a mini refrigerator and a safe. The owner speaks English and French and will serve breakfast in the rooms between 8.30 and 9.30 each morning. Those wishing a later breakfast will be given a voucher for breakfast in a local coffee shop.
Check-in: there will be an extra charge of 20 euros for arrivals after 10pm.

The B&B is conveniently located just 1 km (½ mile) from the Stazione Termini (the main railroad station) and although the neighborhood is safe it is typical of most station neighborhoods in major cities in which there are diverse populations. An excellent advantage of this location is that there is a direct connection to Fiumicino airport and it is the only location in the city where Rome's 2 subway lines meet. The unit is also just 500 mts. (¼ mile) from the Piazza Vittorio stop of Metro Line A which goes to the Via Veneto, the Piazza di Spagna, the Piazza di Popolo and St. Peters's and the Vatican Museum. Many other tourist sights such as Piazza Venezia, Campo de' Fiori, Piazza Navona and the Coloseum are also easily reached by bus from the Stazione Termini or by a 20 minute walk through the historic center of Rome.
