This 45 sqm (484 sq ft) air conditioned apartment on the ground floor of an historic building is located between via dei Coronari and Lungotevere Tor di Nona. For those who want the excitement of spending a vacation in the very center of historical Rome this is an ideal accommodation. Piazza Navona is only a 5 minute walk away and Saint Peter's and Castel Sant' Angelo just a 10 minute walk away. The apartment, which accommodates up to 4 people, has been newly redecorated and refurnished with a very elegant touch. The striking wood beamed ceilings are contrasted with a flooring of colored concrete. The main area of the flat consists of a large living room with a double sofa bed, arm chairs and a TV; a dining area and a corner kitchen with a stove (with oven), a refrigerator and a dishwasher. The bedroom has a double bed but no outside windows. However there is a large mirror which allows ample light into the bedroom. The ensuite bathroom has a stall shower, a hair dryer and a laundry washer and dryer. The guest controlled gas heating provides plenty of hot water. Being in the historical center of Rome, there are a large selection of famous (and not so famous) restaurants and trattorias along with shops of all kinds from groceries to open air markets and artisan and clothing boutiques. The night life is vibrant especially in the nearby Campo de' Fiori area. Many other tourist attractions such as the Pantheon, Spanish Steps and Coliseum are all within walking distance. There is also good public transportation to all other areas of the city. The gracious host and hostess speak English and French and are very willing to give you tips for truly enjoying this historic area.
