This B&B accommodation located in the center of Rome is on the 7th floor of an elevator building directly across the Tiber river from Piazza del Popolo. The building is primarily an office building and therefore has a typically plain entrance but the atmosphere changes dramatically when you enter the B & B. The host and hostess are two artists who have decorated the guest house with their own beautiful creations. This B&B offers two guest rooms, one with two single beds which can be joined together (queen size) and a private en suite bathroom (stall shower) and the second with a king size bed and an ensuite bathroom. A very large window allows a lot of light to enter the rooms and being on the 7th floor makes it a very quiet room which looks out over the roofs to a courtyard. They have cooling ceiling ventilator fans and a lot of closet space. The newly remodeled bathrooms are quite spacious with a stall shower and a hair dryer. There is a free Wi-FI Internet connection if guests have their own computer.
The host and hostess are very welcoming people who speak good English. If requested, the hostess will be pleased to book tickets in advance for Rome's museums and galleries for her guests. They are also bicyclists and would be happy to have cyclists as guests and will provide indoor space for the bikes. Pets are welcome. The local area of the B & B is full of shops, restaurants and movie theaters. The Piazza del Popolo, one of the most famous in Rome with its Renaissance gate and twin churches designed by Bernini, is a short walk across the river and the Vatican can be reached by walking along the river. From both Piazza del Popolo and the Vatican it is an easy walk to many of Rome's most historic sights such as the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona. The Flaminio subway stop of Subway Line A at the Pza. del Popolo and another stop at the Spanish Steps connect to all the other sections of Rome.From this B&B:
