This apartment is wonderfully situated within walking distance to the Vatican and only one block from Subway Line A (Ottaviano stop) providing access to all sections of Rome. The 75sqm (800 sq.ft.) unit has recently been remodelled and furnished with all new modern furniture and air conditioning. It has a bedroom with a queen size bed and good closet space. The spacious main area is an overall open space split into three smaller areas; one with a sofa bed and TV set, an other one with a smaller sofa bed and the third one contains the dining table. This area leads to the all new kitchen which is well equipped for use. The bathroom is divided into two separate sections: one with a hand basin, bidet and toilet and the other with a hand basin and a stall shower. The apartment is surrounded by shops of all kinds including an outdoor market where one can shop in the typical Roman fashion if one wishes to prepare Italian meals "at home" in Rome. There are also many trattorias and famous restaurants in the area (the famous "Il Bolognese" restaurant is within walking distance). The Subway provides easy connection to the historic center (centro storico) where many of the most famous sights of Rome are found: the Piazza di Spagna, Campo de' Fiori, Piazza Navona, Piazza Venezia, and many more; as well as the main Railroad Station, Stazione Termini. The landlord speaks English. No smoking, please.
