This charming B&B is situated on the 5th floor of an elevator building in the Appia district of Rome, a family friendly neighborhood not far from the Basilica of St. John in Laterano and the Scala Santa. The Basilica is one of the major basilicas of Rome and serves as the home church of the Pope when he is acting in his role as the Bishop of Rome. The B & B has a spacious terrace which provides a wonderful outdoor area for relaxing or for having breakfast in warm weather during your holiday in Rome. The bright guest room with its parquet floors has a king size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a large stall shower. A lovely kitchen has a small dining area for indoor breakfasts. This B & B is kept immaculate by the gracious hostess who personally maintains the cleanliness and decorative features of the apartment and terrace. She speaks fluent English and provides a warm welcome for foreign visitors. She is also very willing to provide her guests with tourist information and suggestions to help assure them a delightful holiday or short break. It is a 15 minute walk from the B & B to two stations on Subway Line A; the Re di Roma station and the Ponte Lungo Station. This line connects directly to the Main Train Station (Stazione Termini), a central point from which Subway Line B and many other buses connect to all other sections of Rome. The wonderful Appian Way Park is a 15 minute walk from this guesthouse offering a refuge from the hustle and bustle of your daily travels in Rome.
